A week full of traditional taekwondo for kids

Traditional taekwondo for kids took place 5 times this week in Heidelberg: as part of the parents' project week at the HPC primary school and as part of the TopNotes Summer Camp. The kids learnt lots of blocks and kicks and then tested their accuracy and strength on targets.

They all started with different prerequisites and by the end of the week they were all familiar with the techniques, so we had a training like in the Taekwondo school.

I am proud of the kids - what they have learnt and shown - but above all how happy they are when they succeed in their moves.

I feel the same way! And so I can hardly wait for the regular start of training in September.

Every end is a new beginning

In Göppingen I ran the Uiji-Do school for traditional Taekwon-Do for two years, building it up from the scratch. Today it is a growing community of athletes who are fascinated by this martial art.

The values that are practiced here are certainly something unique. Sportiness for health comes first. During training, the trainees have already learned many complex techniques and ensured that they do something good for themselves and for their own health. All of this creates more self-confidence and mental strength. A community has developed around the school and includes committed parents.

I put my heart and soul into running the school, but unfortunately there was no suitable successor, so I gave my last training session in Göppingen in June 2024.

I would like to thank all the students and their parents for the wonderful time!

See you again soon around Heidelberg, where I am now moving to and where a new Taekwon-Do school will be built!

Stay healthy and fit!

Internal courses for a good start to the new year 2024

Hard-working students welcomed the new year right at the beginning of January with a training session on most important taekwondo techniques.

Christmas party, training course and grading tests

On 25th of Nov 23 there was another training course with successful grading tests. Everyone made a great effort, fought well despite great excitement and were able to give themselves an early Christmas present at the end with a new grade (and a new belt).

Many thanks to all the helpers from Heidelberg and Ludwigsburg!

Many thanks also to all the Göppingen students and their parents who, in addition to preparing for the event, also cooked and baked diligently. There was a wonderfully varied buffet! An all-round successful Christmas party!
